Maruti says that the new petrol engine on the 2018 Ciaz offers 13 per cent more power and 6 per cent more torque than the previous 1.4-litre unit.The engine automatically stops when idle and silently starts when the optimal conditions are met in manual and automatic transmissions. This helps in increasing fuel efficiency.
