Maruti Suzuki is one of the renowned companies in the field of cars. They have recently launched the 2019 facelift version of Baleno in the Indian market. The latest version offers an array of subtle designs with great interiors. The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is well equipped with the features which the customers will love. It is now higher in safety, LED projectors is now replaced with HID projector headlamps, standard seatbelt reminder, speed alert system, reverse parking system and many more.

The 2019 Baleno facelift continues some features from the old version as well. The variants remain the same which is Sigma, Zeta, Delta and Alpha. The power units are also the same compared to the previous version. This includes both, the 1.3-litre diesel engine and 1.2-litre petrol engines. The 1.2-litre variant produces 113Nm torque and 89bhp while the 1.2-litre variant produces 200Nm torque and is with 79Bhp. Both the engines have five gearboxes.

New Maruti Baleno 2019 Vs. Old Baleno Exterior Changes

The front fascia has some of the subtle updates in the new Maruti Baleno. The new feature includes an upgraded front grille design which is quite wider and aggressive compared to the old design. The new version also has a front bumper which helps as a central air dam and has also a room for fog lamps at the very end.

While the design of the headlamps remains the same, the bi-xenon projectors are now replaced with LED projectors in 2019 Baleno facelift.

The side and rear profile are mostly untouched. However, the new version of Baleno now has 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear now produces a slightly altered set of taillights.

The interior mostly remained untouched. The basic layout is all the same. However, the new Baleno has replaced the Black seats and given an amalgamation of Black and blue to it. The central dashboard has also faced minor tweaks.

The Complete New Features

The new Maruti Baleno comes with a complete set of new and updated features. Compared to the old model, the new comes with features like ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, front passenger seatbelt alert and the high speed alerts across all variants.

The infotainment has also been updated as it now comes with the new smart play infotainment system that made its debut in Maruti Suzuki Wagon R in 2019. The infotainment system continues to support Apple and Android car play. The lower variants of Baleno also came with the lower physical buttons which are replaced by the touch buttons.

  • • Sigma Diesel Version – Updated from Rs 6.54 lakh to Rs 6.60 lakh
  • • Delta Diesel Version – Updated from Rs 7.23 lakh to Rs 7.31 lakh
  • • Zeta Diesel Version – Updated from Rs 7.854 lakh to Rs 7.99 lakh

Final Thoughts
